Today made me realize that this might end up being easier than I thought.
round and round.
he propped himself up on an elbow, took two fingers to my jaw, and gently turned my face towards his.
what? he asked, softly.
i had been watching the ceiling fan above our bed make a hundred thousand revolutions, focusing on one blade at a time until my eyes hurt and i was forced to blink.
funny, how some things can be in constant motion yet remain in the same place, i thought.
nothing, i whispered, finding his lips.

10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
Honestly, yes I am. If someone is really important to me, I put my all into the friendship and making it as strong as it can be. I absolutely despise change, so I don’t like changing friends. It upsets me to know that there are people who were once my friend and are now complete strangers. And though I put my all into friendships, I don’t deal with friends who treat me like shit, which I think is good to have in a friendship. I respect my friends, and I’d like them to respect me. There should always be mutual respect in a friendship. I am in no way perfect, but I like to believe that I’m a good friend.
15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose?
My friendship with Bret. Talking about friendship in the last question made me think about my best friends and I can’t imagine my life without Bret. We don’t always get along, but when we do fight we make up immediately. He knows everything about me, and I know that I can talk to him about anything and he won’t judge me. He’s seen me at my worst and he’s seen me at my best, and he’s still around and completely loyal to me. I don’t know where I’d be if I didn’t have him in my life.
17. If there was one moment and one time in the last month what would you change and why?
I honestly cannot pinpoint one specific moment I’d like to change, and I really rather not dwell on that right now. I’m extremely high, and the last two questions made me happy because I thought about my friends, so I’m not going to let this question make me sad. HAH.
isn’t it strange how attractive people are really just a nice-looking arrangement of atoms

Holding hands may seem like an innocent gesture, but they show more than a simple interlocking of fingers. Your hands are one of the most essential parts of your body: you build with them, feed with them, hold with them, touch with them, fight with them; they are the tools of the human body. To take a hold of another’s hand is to break from living individually. It is to link yourself to another being, to momentarily entwine your life with another’s, to promise, for a moment, that you need not face the world alone. More simple, more aesthetically naive than other forms of affection, i.e kissing, hugging, sexing.., the act of holding hands is often trivialized in its true implications.
